I quickly realised that this caller was attempting to pull the wool over my eyes. He claimed to be from the National Criminal Investigation Agency, but his manner was rather rude and off-putting.

Got a ring from someone claiming to be from the "National Criminal Investigation Agency". Totally dodgy, definitely a scam.
