I didn’t answer this call cos I wasn’t sure who it was, but I saw my phone ringing. Right after that, I got another call from a different number which I reckon was the same lot trying to dodge being blocked by spoofing their number. What’s worked for me is putting my phone on airplane mode - I’m still on it now and can use wifi fine, so it’s blocking their calls. Fingers crossed, once I switch it off these nuisance calls stop. My phone flagged the first one as a possible fraud, which definitely made me suspicious.

I didn’t answer because I wasn’t sure who it was, but the phone rang a few times. Then right after, I got a call from another number that seemed dodgy - feels like the same lot messing around with their numbers to dodge being blocked. I switched my phone to airplane mode (doing that now while still on wifi) and it’s stopped the calls for the moment. Fingers crossed they don’t start ringing again once I switch it off!

Got a call supposedly from HM Revenue & Customs about VAT. Seemed dodgy as anything, so I’ve blocked the number straight away. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Today at 3:16pm, I got a call on my mobile here in Bristol from this number. It showed up as possibly a scam, so I didn’t pick up. They didn’t bother leaving a voicemail either, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.

Honestly, I have no clue who that was. It was a landline number. I checked it out on this site and then just blocked it. I usually just ignore calls, especially from landlines. Anyone trying to get in touch with me knows to send a text instead.
