The call didn’t go through when they rang me, so I decided to ring them back. A strangely cheery, American female voice, almost robotic, thanked me for returning the call and mentioned I had opted out. Opted out of what exactly, I wonder?

Got a ring from this number out of the blue. Didn’t recognise it, so I just hung up. Tried calling it back, but all I got was some robotic voice saying thanks for calling and to press something to opt out, but never said which company it was from. Feels like one of those annoying spam surveys or bogus claim firms to me. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now.
