I got a call from what they said was Amazon Prime, saying my subscription was going to be renewed for £39.99. It was one of those automated voices. They mentioned you could speak to an operator if you wanted, but I didn’t bother trying it out - I figured that’s probably when they try to get your payment info. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Amazon Prime, warning me about an auto renewal and suggesting I speak to someone to cancel it. At first, it was just a recorded message, but eventually I ended up talking to a real person. When I asked them to tell me what my last order was, they didn’t seem very happy at all.
