They called me claiming I'd won a holiday, totally dodgy - best to steer clear of this one.

I had to sit through a 90 minute talk from a timeshare business, which wasn't great since they've had dodgy run-ins before. They ended up handing the prize over to another person because, honestly, nothing comes free these days!

So I got a call from some holiday firm called CIC World, saying you could have free holiday packages if you told them you own your house. Turns out they really just want to pitch you timeshares while you’re away. They throw in free place to stay but you’ve got to cover your own flights. Bit sneaky if you ask me.
