Pretty sure my number got picked up at Tenerife airport, was doing a survey by the departure gate and they made it sound like it was from the holiday firm I booked with. Since then, loads of calls from all sorts of different numbers. I've just ignored every one and looked them up on these sites - seems like they’re all from some timeshare outfit, if I’m right.

i got a call from them saying they had some good news but needed to confirm a few things. i told them i was busy at work and they said they’d ring back later. after a bit of digging, i found out it’s a timeshare firm, so i’m just gonna block their number.

Got a call from these folks claiming I’d won a week’s holiday overseas with accommodation included. They said I’d need to pop over to Milton Keynes to collect the tickets. I asked them to ring me back later so I could check it out, and then I found this site.

They ring me non-stop, like every hour! It’s driving me mad. Some call centre rubbish from CIC World or whatever, always on about PPI and other nonsense. Had enough, blocked the lot now.

I didn’t pick up the phone initially, so I rang back. They said it was from CIC World and if I wanted a callback, I needed to leave a message. However, to remove my info from their database, they asked me to email them with the details they gave. I nearly sent an email but thought better of it, worried it might just add to the info they already have on me. When I looked up CIC World online, it seemed to be some sort of timeshare or holiday travel firm, but honestly, it gave me a really dodgy vibe, like it might be a scam.
