This number has rung me a couple of times. I never pick up since the only ones with my landline are my doctor and a few others, so I reckon whoever it is probably doesn't even know who they’re ringing when they call my number.

Not sure who that is, but when I called back, no answer. I just trusted my instincts and avoided it, good thing too because it showed up as risky.

CSL: a debt recovery company, and I’ve always found them quite understanding. No need to be scared of them, just be upfront and honest. I’ve never felt threatened or pressured by them at all. After all, it was a debt that had to be sorted out, and they’ve always been pretty fair, letting me increase payments when I could, or decrease them - even lowering the total amount - when things got tough. If you don’t want to deal with them, just ask to have your number removed from their calling list, and they’ll respect that.

I got a call from this number on my landline recently. I’ve had this number for almost three years and never shared it with anyone, it’s an ex-directory number so it’s never been released. Whenever I check 1471, it warns you’ll get charged if you return the call, so I wasn’t planning on calling back. I’m pretty sure it’s nothing important since I don’t give my landline out. The only place I’ve used this number recently is with my doctor, but their calls usually show up as private, so I’m puzzled how this number got out there.

If you get nervous and panicky easily, they’ll grab onto that stress and keep you talking, asking all sorts about yourself, even silly stuff like your inside leg measurement. Then you end up agreeing to some daft scheme and back to where you started. That’s method number one. The other way is just to ignore their pestering completely, and eventually, they’ll give up. The only downside is your credit score might take a hit, but honestly, do you really want to borrow more money anyway? So yeah, works out fine in the end! ;)

Just like loads of others here, I’ve started letting my voicemail pick up rather than answering, cos there’s so many dodgy calls coming through lately. This number seemed familiar from the other comments - a woman leaves a really unclear message, but right at the end, she clearly states the date and time, like they’re pretending to leave something useful. I’ve listened to it tons of times and even my mates and family can’t make out a single proper word apart from that date and time bit. No clue who it’s meant for or what it’s about. So yeah, I’ve put it on the block list now!

firms like cs! purchase supposed debts for next to nothing. so basically csi have settled your so-called debt without you even agreeing, which is quite generous of them. then they try to get the full amount off you but they’ve got no real legal ground. that’s why they act all big and scary, hoping you’ll be intimidated. don’t be afraid, they don’t control you. don’t share any details. just hang up on their calls. eventually they’ll pass the debt on again, and the cycle goes on until it’s clear there’s nothing more to be done.

I received a call from this number earlier, and they were pushing hard for my personal info. After digging a bit, I discovered the company is run by folks from India, and to be honest, I’ve heard plenty of stories about scams linked to them. The woman on the line just wouldn’t give up, kept insisting I hand over my details even when I said no. The more I questioned her, the more it became clear this was a total scam. Please, don’t pick up if this number rings, and make sure your loved ones know about it too. The business goes by the names CSL and CFL.

I keep getting calls from this firm, and I haven't had any dealings with them at all. It's a mystery how they've acquired my personal information. I have no intention of ringing them back, and if the calls persist, I won't hesitate to take the appropriate steps as per compliance regulations. I genuinely doubt their data handling is as pristine as they claim.

Yeah, these scammers call you and the moment you pick up, they just drop the line. So then you call back, thinking it was a missed call, but it barely rings. It's happening loads lately. When you do call back, it directs you straight into some rip-off that charges like £3.50 a minute. Honestly, another one just came through while I’m writing this. These lot are proper con artists and the authorities need to sort this out, especially since it’s happening every 4 or 5 minutes. Blame has to go on Facebook and those social media firms outsourcing stuff, where else would they get these iPhone numbers from? Time to block them all. Seriously, don’t pick up unless it’s someone you know, ’cause if it’s important, they’ll just send a text :)
