CSL: a debt recovery company, and I’ve always found them quite understanding. No need to be scared of them, just be upfront and honest. I’ve never felt threatened or pressured by them at all. After all, it was a debt that had to be sorted out, and they’ve always been pretty fair, letting me increase payments when I could, or decrease them - even lowering the total amount - when things got tough. If you don’t want to deal with them, just ask to have your number removed from their calling list, and they’ll respect that.

This particular number managed to get through to my landline, which, mind you, is not publicly listed. I've held onto this number for almost three years now, and I never share it with anyone. It's unusual for anyone to contact me on it. When I dialled 1471, I was informed that returning the call would incur a charge, which I promptly disregarded, as I’m not in the habit of calling back strangers, especially since I keep my landline private. The only recent instance in which I provided my number was to my doctor, and they always display as a private caller, so it's a mystery how my number ended up in someone else's hands.

If you get nervous and panicky easily, they’ll grab onto that stress and keep you talking, asking all sorts about yourself, even silly stuff like your inside leg measurement. Then you end up agreeing to some daft scheme and back to where you started. That’s method number one. The other way is just to ignore their pestering completely, and eventually, they’ll give up. The only downside is your credit score might take a hit, but honestly, do you really want to borrow more money anyway? So yeah, works out fine in the end! ;)

Like countless others, I’ve opted to let my voicemail take over my calls due to the sheer number of spam calls circulating at the moment. This particular call echoed what I’ve heard from others regarding this number. A woman’s voice was quite muffled while leaving the message, yet she distinctly stated the date and time at the end, almost as if she were feigning to leave a proper voicemail. I've replayed the recording repeatedly, and even my mates and family members couldn't decipher a single word aside from the date and time she mentioned at the close of the message. firms like cs! purchase supposed debts for next to nothing. so basically csi have settled your so-called debt without you even agreeing, which is quite generous of them. then they try to get the full amount off you but they’ve got no real legal ground. that’s why they act all big and scary, hoping you’ll be intimidated. don’t be afraid, they don’t control you. don’t share any details. just hang up on their calls. eventually they’ll pass the debt on again, and the cycle goes on until it’s clear there’s nothing more to be done.
