Agri pet insurance offer a free month of coverage after you get your pet microchipped. They called me afterwards just to check if I wanted to keep the insurance and pay, but I found their prices quite high so I decided to cancel. For me, it wasn’t pushy or annoying, just a polite follow-up.

Just got a new puppy and it came with a free one month insurance deal. It's not the insurer we usually go with so we won’t be continuing with them. From all the messages here, it's definitely Agria Pet Insurance calling. Just got myself a new puppy, and they offer 5 weeks of free cover through the vet for Agria. I phoned the landline and just as I was looking up the number, the answerphone picked up, no message left though. Then, less than 10 seconds later, the same number called me straight back on my mobile. After reading the other comments, I don’t think I’ll pick up. I’ve already got pet insurance sorted to start before the initial 4 weeks finish. I’ve only had the puppy for 6 days, and when the phone rang I was already on their third email. Proper pushy lot.

Got a call from Kennel Club (KC)/Agria pet insurance. They were just nicely checking in about the free short term puppy cover you get through the breeder. Agria’s prices can be quite steep (especially when linked with the KC name). Quick searching shows you can find decent coverage with other trustworthy insurers for less money than Agria charges.

I also reminded them they’re under the Financial Conduct Authority and I’d report them if they kept misusing my info. When they rang me, I answered but it dropped the call, so I rang back to tell them it wasn’t very professional. A nice lady explained they were having headset issues and said sorry. In the end, I decided not to take their free insurance.
