4 monthsI’m pretty sure this is one of those debt scam calls pretending to be from Opus. Definitely a number I’ve added to my blocked contacts now. Not falling for it again!Opus2 yearsFraud Alert +44 1294 6584732 yearsYesterday I got a call on my mobile from a woman with a strange accent who said, ‘Hello Miss ******, how are you doing?’ I replied that I was quite stressed and asked how she had got hold of my number. She just said goodbye and ended the call. Now I’ve received a call from the same number on my landline. Looks like someone’s been sharing my personal info around. Honestly, it’s hard to trust anyone nowadays. Every company you deal with asks for so much info it’s just crazy! This has got to be a scam.4 yearsI’ve had this debt agency call me multiple times, claiming to have my debt now. They switch numbers all the time which is a bit dodgy, and their tone is borderline threatening. From what I’ve read, they’re not very trustworthy. My advice? Don’t pick up and just block any number they use as soon as you see it.4 yearsShe said something like Opex, I think. Then asked for my name and warned me all calls are recorded. I said alright but who exactly are you? She just kept saying ‘First I need to inform you all calls are recorded. May I know who’s speaking?’ Over and over, like four times. I eventually told her to stop calling because this number is for a 14 year old, thanks and goodbye! It was the first time they rang me, so let’s see if they try again. I answered because the area code looked familiar, it matched the gas and boiler company I use in Arbroath! 🙄Cheerio6 yearsGot a call from some random number, they only left part of a message and asked me to ring back on what I reckon is a pricey premium line. They mention some reference code and keep you hanging. No one tells you who’s calling, no company, nothing but some vague talk about "our staff". Seems like a total scam to me. Happens all over the place in Scotland too.Scotland7 yearsGot a voicemail saying this isn't a scam, then they told me to call a different number with some kind of reference code. Weird thing is, I got the exact same message on a different phone number too. Both numbers are now blocked on my phone.7 yearsI’m definitely not sharing any of my info with them.7 yearsGetting loads of calls from numbers starting with 0129 lately, but the digits after that keep switching up. Been adding them all to the BT 1572 blacklist one after the other. Total pain!7 yearsI kept quiet, thanks anyway.Submit Your Own Report (01294 681797)
