Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC. I hit one of the buttons just to see what would happen. The bloke sounded like he was reading from a script real slow. He said there was suspicious stuff linked to my name and NI number. Asked for my details but I told him a made-up name and said no way was he getting any real info ‘cause he was a scammer and deserved whatever hell they have waiting. Well, at least he wasted 5 minutes of my day!

I picked up the call, but they hung up straight away. I receive a fair number of dodgy calls, so I'm not certain what to make of this one.

Watch out for this number; it’s definitely a scammer! I'm telling you, they posed as if they were ringing from the BT tech support team about some phantom broadband problems I supposedly had. But guess what? Absolutely no issues here! In fact, I don’t even have an account with BT!
