I got a call on my husband's phone, someone pretending to be from the Barclays fraud team. They knew loads of personal stuff and sounded really believable. They even sent a text claiming it was Barclays, but it wasn’t from the official app! Then I spotted a dodgy transaction on our account I didn’t know about, so I ended the call and rang Barclays fraud team straight away. Be careful, if you get calls like this - just hang up and ring your bank yourself!

This call was so convincing and clever, I didn't realise until it was too late and I had to report it to Action Fraud. Seriously risky! It completely threw me off guard - my advice is to just hang up straight away. Don't end up in the same mess I did!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Barclays, telling me there might be some dodgy charges on my credit card. They asked loads of questions that sounded kinda relevant at first. But when I started asking where exactly they were calling from, they just hung up. Felt fishy right from the start.
