The caller ID showed a Sky Broadband Support number, but looking back, it might have just been a recorded message from a scammer because it was an automated announcement rather than someone talking live. When I picked up, I heard a strange click like the call was being rerouted, but after that, it stayed silent until I hung up. I checked the number 01293901470 online, and it doesn’t come up as an official Sky contact anywhere. It could be legit, but honestly, I’d be cautious - it smells a lot like a scam to me.

Just wanted to add a bit more on my earlier comment. I reckon the call was legit. However, the map on Who Called Me shows Coventry, not Crawley, which is a bit strange. There's an Amazon data centre nearby, so maybe whoever called is actually based in Crawley but routing through Amazon's servers. Still, I'd be cautious if you receive a ring from this number.
