A couple of weeks back, I picked up a call from a number I didn’t recognise because my mum had just been admitted to hospital. Since then, I’ve been getting nonstop calls from various numbers every single day. It’s really annoying, honestly.

For about a month now, I've been getting calls almost daily from what looks like the NHS, but they keep tweaking the final digit of the same phone number so they can always get through. Lately, when I pick up, they just hang up straight away. The constant ringing has been driving me mad, so I’ve had to block 01293731376 and then all the numbers with last digits 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 77, 78, and 79 as well. Fingers crossed this actually stops the calls because this kind of pestering really needs to be put to an end.
