If all the thousands of folks in the UK who get targeted daily start doing these things, the cops and government will have to take real steps to shut it down. Don’t just rely on others to sort it out. It takes barely any time at all. I’ve bookmarked the ‘action fraud’ site and even wrote to my MP - got a quite surprising reply, actually. But it won’t change anything if only I’m bothered about it.

Yeah, got a call claiming to be from the NHS wanting to confirm my COVID jab details. Then they started asking about who my life insurance was with and how much I was paying. I just told them no thanks and hung up. They said it was to "update my records" or something like that. My life insurance info is private, not something I share with random callers!

I got a call from someone asking about my Covid vaccinations. I didn’t really get into it much, but it was obvious right away it was a scam.

I could hardly make out what the bloke was on about, seemed like he was rushing his words on purpose to throw me off. Claimed he was ringing from the NHS about some kind of terminal care. When I asked which hospital he was with, he just said it wasn’t about hospitals but the NHS in general. Then when I questioned how they got my number, he muttered something I couldn't catch properly, his accent suddenly changed, and then he just ended the call. Makes me wonder if they fake the accent sometimes. Really frustrating, and honestly quite upsetting as well.

I’ve blocked a bunch of their numbers before and I’m about to block this latest one too. Judging by the accent, the callers seem to be in India. Honestly, just another annoying scam we don’t need at all.
