I picked up since the call showed as local. The person said I’d been in a crash, which I hadn’t. I told them to take my number off their list. They then wanted to know who gave them my number, I said I had no clue. After that, they said they’d delete my details.

Received a message claiming I had signed up for broadband online, but I definitely didn’t. They seemed keen to find out my name!

I got a missed call earlier, so I decided to give the number a ring. Turns out it belonged to a firm named iTalk Broadband, likely trying to peddle pricey broadband packages. Not entirely certain about their intention, but I've blocked the number now.
