Got a call at 8:38 AM on a Saturday, 18th July. A pre-recorded voice claimed to be from Amazon, warning me that my account would be debited. The issue? I've never engaged with Amazon! I attempted to ring the number displayed but was informed it wasn't a valid one. Consequently, I alerted my bank to keep an eye on my account. It's baffling trying to get in touch with Amazon; reaching a real person feels like searching for a needle in a haystack!
