Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, so I blocked it straight away and deleted the message.

I'm a woman from around Glasgow/Ayrshire and had a call from someone claiming to be from a company called VSB or BSB, something like that, saying they help older folks stay safe. When I asked how they got my number, she mentioned retired people - which I'm definitely not. I told her I didn’t think I wanted to chat and that I'd google the company name. Tried looking online but couldn’t find any firm with those initials offering those services, especially not here in Scotland or Ayrshire. Felt a bit fishy to me.

Got a really annoyed lady on the phone saying she’s made loads of attempts to get through about a dodgy PPI claim. Only one time did someone pick up, and about five times she asked them to stop calling, but no luck. They never told her who they were, just kept pushing for all her info. Proper fishy behaviour if you ask me!

this number keeps ringing my phone loads throughout the day and into the early evening. it’s been doing this for about a week straight. if i was certain it was from ee, i’d definitely switch to a different provider.

looks like a call centre to me, found lots of similar numbers around the same series reported here - mostly insurance related, like for car crashes and stuff, probably those ambulance chasing adverts. no clue who owns this number, they didn’t leave any voicemail or message. I usually don’t pick up for unknown callers so I just blocked it. has anyone actually picked up when this number called?
