Got a call from a dodgy number saying they were from Benefits UK, bit fishy if you ask me. This was the second time today; earlier I got one from a 01583 Carradale code. I told them off pretty harshly but they just wouldn’t stop ringing. The second lot even got a bit nasty before I finally hit the block button - thank goodness for that! 😉

Got a ring from someone supposedly from Benefits UK, sounded like they wanted me to answer some questions. I’m onto this type of scam because I once gave out a bit of info about my washing machine make, and then they started ringing saying my insurance was up and trying to sell me a cheap policy. It’s all a ploy to get your bank info. Honestly, it’s a bunch of dodgy scammers. If I’d had the time, I might’ve wasted their time with nonsense answers. This time though, I just told them to feck off.

Got a call from 01292281011 earlier, some bloke answered and his voice was all muffled and unclear, then he just dropped the call. I looked up the area code and it’s from Ayr, Scotland. This kinda call isn’t new to me, they keep ringing despite me asking them every time to take my number off their list or else I’d report them. Still, the calls don’t stop, and it’s starting to wind me up.

Got calls from this lot twice today, both times saying they're from Benefits U.K. First ring was from a Carradale code, 01583. Even after I told them to clear off, they just keep ringing back. The second call actually got a bit nasty, so lucky for the hang-up button! 😉

Got a call from Benefits UK about their household survey again. The questions were daft and seemed pointless, like they serve no real purpose for any business or organisation. I reckon it’s a trick to get you to say "yes" on record, which they might use later on as proof you agreed to something dodgy. Sounds like a scam to me.

Got a couple calls today from what’s obviously a scammer pretending to be Benefits UK or summat like that. The first caller showed up with an 01583 Carradale area code. Told them off properly, but they just wouldn’t stop ringing. The second one got quite rude before I slammed the phone down. Honestly, best thing ever is the red button on my phone, saved me from a proper headache!

Some bloke rang me saying he was from a firm called Benefits UK, but when I asked him where their office was, he dodged the question. Then he said he was actually operating out of South East Asia or something. I told him not to phone me again, but he got really rude and claimed I’d allowed him to keep ringing. Even after I firmly told him to take me off their list and that I was withdrawing any consent, he still insisted he’d call back. Things got quite tense, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with a benefits market research group. The story didn’t match what others are saying about this number at all.
