It appears that an antiquated BT code deciphering tool indicates that the call originated from Ochiltree in Cumnock, Ayrshire.

Strangely enough, there was no response on the line-clearly the result of an autodialer or some sort of automated system.

Just like the others, they were after my bank info too.

I got a call from someone who sounded Asian and said they were from TV Guard. They told me I was currently paying £7 a week and offered to lower it to £5. I told them straight away I don’t pay anything for TV, then they seemed to know my name and quickly said sorry before hanging up. Felt really dodgy to me. I don’t reckon this TV Guard place even exists.
