A guy called me saying that the government is banning boilers from 2025, which isn’t right - it’s just gas boilers in new homes. Total scammer. I told him he ought to be embarrassed and then just ended the call.

Got a call about upping the FIT payment for panels by rewiring them. The bloke just kept going on, so I ended up blocking the number.

Got a call from someone named "James" about upgrading solar panel inverters and rewiring to boost efficiency. I'm really not a fan of random cold callers messing with our home. I mentioned we’re registered with the TPS, so I was a bit shocked they got through. To be fair, he was pretty courteous and quickly said he’d take us off his list and wouldn’t ring again (time will tell). I’ve flagged this as "harassment" though, since he called yesterday as well and I already told him to stop.

I got a phone call from a bloke who said he was James Clark, chatting about some government scheme for heating grants. I let him know we were already aware and not looking to get involved. Once he saw I wasn’t having it, he wasn’t pushy at all and was quite courteous, didn’t just hang up like some do. What bugs me though is that I’m on the TPS, so we really shouldn’t be getting any cold calls like that in the first place.
