We keep getting these annoying calls every now and then, and it's weird how they already know we've got solar panels - how on earth did they find that out? The person on the phone says it’s time for a safety inspection, probably just a sneaky way to push a sale or try to convince us we need an upgrade. We don't even bother listening to the pitch though. We've signed up to the TPS, but it feels like they couldn't care less. Proper annoying!

Got a call out of the blue on my home number which is on the TPS list. The person said they were ringing about some government RHI scheme, but when I questioned him, he admitted he worked for a private firm called "Nextgen". I told him to take me off their list, he said he would, yet he kept pushing me to stay on the call and hear him out. In the end, I had to just hang up. Really aggressive salesman.

I got a call off a lady offering a no-cost checkup for my solar panels and inverters since the company that put them in had gone under. She seemed quite legit at first, but after reading the comments here, I’m starting to feel a bit worried.

Got a call from some firm calling themselves Next Gen. They were quite polite and said they could swap out my boiler for a heat pump. While they did mention bits of truth about gas boilers being phased out eventually and using greener tech, they also played up the dangers and made the government grants sound way better than they really are. If you’re thinking about heat pumps, I’d suggest getting honest info from a proper advisory service first instead of just taking what salespeople say at face value.

Got a call from this number today and some bloke was asking for "Mr Wenlock". I told him no one here by that name lives at this address. Then he asked if this was 35 Wellington Drive, I said definitely not. He said he'd correct their records or something. We've been getting calls from them occasionally over the past year, always the same thing - asking for "Mr Wenlock" and saying they'll update their info. It's really frustrating.
