Got a call from a woman with a heavy Indian accent claiming there was a problem with my Virgin broadband. She told me to get on one of my devices and check it out. I told her I don’t even have Virgin broadband and asked if I could speak to her manager. She just cut the call straight away. Pretty certain it was a scam.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent saying they were 'online support'. When I asked which company, they couldn’t give me a straight answer. They told me my computer was infected with viruses, which I found really suspicious. Lately, I've been getting about 3 or 4 calls daily from different numbers all sharing the same area code - pretty sure they’re all scams.
