I received a dodgy phone call today that was clearly a scam. It was a pre-recorded message warning me that my internet would be disconnected due to some alleged compromise. They insisted that if I wanted to avoid this catastrophe, I had to press 1 to talk to someone claiming to be from BT. Of course, my internet is perfectly fine, or I wouldn’t be able to leave this message!
