I had a missed call from this number based in Berwick upon Tweed. Gave them a ring back out of curiosity, only to discover it's about those pesky PPI claims. I've now made sure to block the number from my phone!

I've been getting calls from this number quite regularly, at least once or twice a week. The very first time I picked up, a Chinese-speaking individual was on the other end, but I struggled to make sense of what they were saying. They were rambling on about PPI and requested my bank information, which I smartly declined to provide. I suggested they send me something in writing instead, but the persistent calls just continue to annoy me. There’s a chance I could be eligible for PPI compensation, yet I would much prefer a proper letter from a credible source. At one point, I attempted to call this number back, but wouldn’t you know it - I was met with another Chinese voice that I couldn’t properly understand! Now that I'm familiar with the number, I simply ignore the calls when they come through.

The only people who possess my mobile number are my mates and my bank, so I’m quite puzzled about how this firm managed to get hold of it. Their call was totally unexpected! They’ve only tried to contact me once, and unfortunately, I missed the ring. It’s rather frustrating, to say the least!
