I received a call from a claims company regarding PPI, but when I asked them where they got my number, they wouldn't disclose it. Quite unhelpful, really!

Today my office phone rang and the person on the other end just wouldn’t hang up, even after I told them it was a work number and that I’m on the TPS. They kept saying they were contacting “everyone in the UK” about some PPI claim. Thing is, I’ve never had PPI anyway.

This is a fake call from some PPI claims outfit. Total scammers and annoyingly cold call you out of the blue. Better to just ignore it and dont pick up :)

Oh and the place calls itself "PPI Claims Unit". Stay clear!
