When I picked up the phone, they just cut off straight away. The caller ID claims it’s from Carphone Warehouse, but I find it hard to believe that it’s a legitimate call. It’s been yonks since I last had anything to do with them, especially since they’ve stopped working with O2. Plus, I’m quite certain my mobile number has shifted since I last was in touch with their services. Just a word of caution to everyone!

Got a call supposedly from Carphone Warehouse offering a great deal. I requested they send me the contract info by email. When it arrived, it was full of copied bits from Samsung’s website along with some mistakes. Feels like a total scam to me! *** BEWARE ***

Got a call from a bloke with a thick accent, sounded like he might be Indian. He said he was ringing from Three and asked how I was, even called me ma’am! I told him I wasn't well, then he just dropped the call. Total scam, be warned! Please don’t hand out your info to anyone. I’m with Vodafone so there’s no reason for phone firms to cold call me - if you want a contract, you’d just pop into a shop yourself.

I picked up the call, but there was utter silence on the other end. They ended the call almost immediately without a word.

I answered the call, but they just disconnected straight away. However, I noticed that others here mention it’s linked to Carphone Warehouse. I find it hard to believe that it’s actually them, seeing as I haven’t been a customer for ages and they don’t even represent O2 anymore. Got a call off someone saying they were with Odo Networks. I didn't give them any details or ask who they were, just ended the call straight away. The voice sounded Indian, and I guess they were using some kind of phone trick to make it look like the call was coming from Wales. My tip - just ignore and don’t answer.

The number showed up as somewhere in Caernarfon, Wales. A man with a thick African accent called, and it was quite hard to catch what he was saying. He said he was ringing from O2 with some kind of discount offer. I wasn’t interested and just said no thanks before hanging up nicely.
