I reckon it’s probably USAY Insurance calling me non stop. They ring pretty much every hour and I had to block their first number, but then they just switch to loads of different ones. I kept getting calls every hour from the number 01628 334216, which is from Maidenhead, I think. Then I noticed another one calling me every hour too, from 01285 707053. It’s linked to Gamma Telecom holdings or something like that. Quite annoying!

I received a missed call from a number I didn’t recognise, so I decided to ring back. It turned out to be Usay Compare, a well-respected firm with whom I hold my health insurance policy (Aviva). They were simply checking in to see if I’d like to renew. Everything seems perfectly legitimate from my side.

Insurance sales calls, these people are seriously well trained, they just won't take no for an answer. I said no thank you and hung up, but they kept going for like 3 minutes! Then they called back, a different person this time. Finally I had to tell them where to go and block the number. Just a heads up, they'll call using the same area code but a different number each time. So if you don’t pick up and block it, they’ll just keep trying.
