I received a rather baffling call from a woman whose accent I struggled to comprehend. She professed to be representing Virgin Media and was touting some fantastic offers. However, I was convinced it was a scam, so I chose to block the number. Strangely enough, I've had a couple of similar encounters in just the past week, with a woman who sounded eerily like the first, yet hailing from different regions of the UK. It’s quite unsettling to think that these scammers can easily spoof numbers from various locations to sidestep those they know have been blocked.

Utterly dreadful! Just another lot of spammers attempting to peddle their wares. I was asked whether I fancied a Samsung or an iPhone, and I opted for the iPhone due to its sleek design. Then, out of the blue, the conversation took a scandalous turn with questions about the sounds I make during intimate moments and inquiries regarding my husband’s endowment. What a bunch of charlatans! No respectable individual would stoop to such sordid topics! Truly appalling behaviour!

Having previously resided nearby, I’ve caught wind of his shifty operations. He attempted to ring me recently; how amusing! Best to just block him and steer clear, if you can.
