This number has called me twice, saying they're from O2 and that they can help lower my phone bill if I give them some info. They try to get you to share a security code for verification. Please DON'T give them any such code - it might let them get into your real O2 account. O2 uses two-factor authentication, and these fraudsters might get far enough in their scheme that O2 sends you a legit security code by text. If you share that code with anyone, it’s easier for them to break into your account. I’ve already flagged this number to O2 as a scam pretending to be from them.

I got a call from someone saying they were from O2, and ive had this kind of call before. They try to tempt you with a “special offer” and then ask you to enter your phone number on a website. You’ll get a text with a “code” and they’ll ask you for it. NEVER give them that code. If you do, they can get into your account, change your password, and run up charges. They might even buy a phone or new sims using your account. Just hang up and dont deal with it!
