I received an automated call claiming to be from Amazon, expressing worry over a questionable £700 transaction linked to my account. They urged me to hit button 1 to connect with their so-called "customer support." Suspicious, to say the least! Sounds like a classic scam to me!

Got a call with a recorded message pretending to be from Amazon, saying there was some dodgy activity on my account involving a £700 purchase and they'd blocked it. They told me to press 1 to speak to customer support. Definitely a scam, so I just hung up straight away.
