I got a call from David Spark, who said he was a broker dealing with remortgage quotes, using the number 01284 711856. He said he’d ring me back and then connected me with someone named Collin. I had looked into mortgages online recently, so I wasn’t immediately suspicious. However, after the call, I looked up the number here and saw a lot of bad reviews. Collin never phoned me back as promised, and when I tried returning the call, I got a dodgy call waiting message which didn’t sound legit at all - definitely feels like a scam.

Some bloke rang me up claiming he’d been in an accident and was trying to raise cash for surgery. I just hung up straight away. Sounds dodgy to me, who actually calls folks to ask for money like that? Definitely a scam.

This evening, I got a call from someone named Mike who was trying to sell me a holiday to Spain at a bargain price. It seemed quite genuine, but I ended up saying no since I’m dealing with some health issues right now.
