Got a call from 01283 575688 on 9 January 2023 around 4.20pm. It's the second time I've received a scam call pretending to be from "Amazon" but they spoof the number to make it look like it's from my own local area code (01283). The first call was way back on 20 December 2022. Just to be clear, I’ve never had an Amazon account, so it’s a total scam. Wanted to share this so others are wary, especially since they’re using a number that looks familiar to trick people.
