Got a call from a number with a Burton on Trent code, same as mine. The person said they were from ‘bank security’ warning me about a couple of dodgy transactions on my card. When I tried to ring the number back, it just wouldn’t connect. Sounds like they’re faking the local area code to trick people into picking up and giving out personal info. Definitely a scam, stay careful!
