I received a rather alarming call purportedly from my internet service provider. They claimed that an individual named Mr Carco from California was attempting to hack into my phone. They insisted I fetch my laptop so they could somehow intervene and put a stop to this supposed hacking. However, I had my reservations and chose not to cooperate, as it all sounded rather dodgy to me.

Got a call from a woman speaking English, telling me my internet would be cut off later today. I probably wasn’t very polite and shouted a few choice words, not my usual style but I’m 83 and disabled, so I really don’t need this hassle - and neither do any of us.
