Reports on phone number 01282947781
2 daysGot a call from someone claiming to be EE saying they had to block 4G masts and that I needed to pay over the phone to get a 5G booster sim, which they promised would be delivered tomorrow morning. The caller had a strong Indian accent and the number didn’t match the area code at all. I use an e-sim, not a 4G one, so it was obvious it wasn’t genuine. I noticed some others have fallen for their tricks, which is really sad. Just a heads up, don’t hand over your bank details - it’s definitely a scam!!
