I’ve had this unknown number ringing me loads recently, and honestly, if it were me, I wouldn’t bother picking up. Seems dodgy, like it could be some sort of scam.

So, I got a couple of calls, a few hours apart, from someone saying they were from O2, saying I'd asked for a free SIM or a callback - which I never did. They kept messing up my address and contract info, even though O2 already has that on record since I’m a customer. They acted like they were checking my account details but ended up getting stuff wrong. Honestly, don't share any personal info with these people!

Every time you ring, I just ignore it cause I'm not up for it. My number’s on the TPS list, so what you're doing isn’t allowed by law. Please quit bothering me and spare other folks from this nuisance too.

I didn’t pick up the phone when it rang. Later on, I tried calling the number back and got a recorded message from a bloke saying I’d received a call from 02 earlier and “there’s nothing to worry about.” If this is legit, why can’t someone just answer properly? Surely, if it’s really 02 wanting to get in touch, they’d have a real person on the line.
