I’ve had this unknown number ringing me loads recently, and honestly, if it were me, I wouldn’t bother picking up. Seems dodgy, like it could be some sort of scam.

It seems I've found myself in an unusual situation. I received two phone calls within a few hours from individuals claiming to be from O2. Both insisted that I had asked for either a callback or a complimentary SIM, which is entirely untrue. What struck me as particularly odd was that they misrepresented my address and bungled my contract information-especially since I’m already an O2 customer, so they ought to have that on file. They even feigned the process of logging into my account to "confirm" my details, yet persisted in getting it all wrong. I strongly advise against sharing any personal information with them!

I've noticed repeated calls from your number, but let me be clear-I have no inclination to respond. My phone number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service, which makes your actions not only bothersome but also unlawful. I kindly ask you to cease this incessant behaviour, and spare others from the same annoyance.

I let the call ring out without picking up. When I tried to return the call, a robotic voice informed me that O2 had attempted to reach me today and assured me there was "nothing to fret about." If this is on the level, might I ask why they couldn't bother to have an actual person respond? After all, it's them who are eager to have a natter with me!
