Got a series of calls from a BT number, sounded like an Asian accent, saying there’s some security issue with my internet. They rang me up three times in just half an hour! They were asking if they could get into my computer, which seemed really dodgy to me.

I got a call off someone claiming to be from BT telling me my internet had issues. They wanted me to check my computer and likely get me to click on dodgy links so they could hack into my PC. This scammer’s been calling from different numbers for a few weeks now. I’ve already reported it to Action Fraud - https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report_fraud. Honestly, I’d recommend everyone else do the same before anyone ends up having their bank emptied.

I got a call that seemed like a sales pitch. When I picked up, I heard someone speaking to someone else in the room, saying “salaam alekum.” Then, I think they said “hello” to me but as soon as I replied back, the line just went dead. Quite odd!
