Got a call claiming to be from BT about some internet issues. I told the lady exactly what I thought of it and just hung up. Total scam if you ask me.

I got a call missed from this number and later another from 01282865210 saying they were with BT. The bloke on the phone had an African accent and told me they’d cut off my broadband for a week so they could fix some internet issues. Problem is, I don’t have any internet issues and I’m not even with BT, so it was clear the guy was making it all up. Sounds like these are just hackers trying to fool people.
