I received a call from O2, who mentioned they had some SIM-only deals going and wondered if I'd fancy one, given my prior history with them. I politely declined as I'm tied to a different contract at the moment. They persisted a bit, asking if I might know anyone whose contract is soon up for renewal. I explained that my whole group signed their agreements around the same time, which means we're all stuck for a good three years (just made that timeline up!). The representative was very courteous, and they assured me there wouldn't be any further follow-ups.
