Got a call from someone claiming I needed to update my EE/BT SIM for 5G. They spoke really nicely and asked for my EE email login to send the new SIM. I got suspicious and asked more questions, and as soon as I did, they just cut the call. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Got a call from a nice lady saying I needed to swap my sim card because of the EE and BT coming together. When I brought up how there’s been loads of scam calls about this recently, she suddenly said her system was down and that she’d have to ring me again later. Bit fishy, but can’t say for certain it was a scam. Also, EE never sent me a text or email warning me about any changes.
