Got a call from a local number I didn’t recognise, so I just let it ring out. No voicemail or anything was left. Did a bit of searching for AQL Wholesale and found out they’re apparently a telemarketing firm that deals in selling phone lists. Sounds like the perfect setup for scams. Found some reports linking similar numbers to life insurance scams too. Blocked the number straight away.
