I just got this automated call from a woman with a very clear English accent claiming she was ringing from Visa and Mastercard. She said I’d supposedly just sent £600 abroad and told me to press 1 if I wanted to talk about it. Naturally, I didn’t bother pressing anything and just waited for the call to end. After that, there was nothing else, no other noise or people talking.
