They rang me about 6.30 in the evening, but didn’t bother leaving any message. I’ve since looked up the number and decided to block it.

I got a call from Brighter Homes, but turns out they ain’t really local as I assumed. They wanted to come round and measure up for a porch, even offered a 40% discount code. Then a bloke called back saying he does the surveys and told me it’s not doable - it’d block the garage, just like I suspected. Now he’s checking out how much a canopy might cost instead and promised to ring me back tomorrow. Not too shabby though, since he was honest about the porch not being a good fit for me.

I tried ringing them back, but they never say which company they’re from. Instead, they just ask if you’re the homeowner - definitely some sort of sales pitch. I’ve blocked the number now.
