I got a call this morning around 9:10 on 12/12/2020 from a number starting with 01279. The message was robotic and said my broadband was being cut off in 24 hours because BT found some misuse on my line. They gave me a few choices to deal with it. It’s strange they used a local 01279 number since I live in the same area, usually these scam calls come from odd or distant prefixes. Feels like they’re trying to make it seem more legit. Watch out, it’s definitely another scam!
