It seems like this could be a call from a service that blocks unwanted communications, named Callico. Given that I'm ex-directory, it's puzzling how they might have obtained my number. One of my mates does utilise a blocking service, so perhaps they’ve somehow linked my details through her consent to that system. Also, the caller’s name doesn’t quite match up with their accent, which adds to my suspicion.

Got a call from a bloke asking to confirm my sort code and bank account details, claiming he wanted to update my bank info. Then he asked if I wanted to keep using the same visa card that apparently expires this year, supposedly to stop calls from coming through. I told him I don't use that service. After that, he went on about some changes with data protection. The guy sounded foreign and got pretty annoyed when my son answered the phone. Honestly, seems dodgy to me - best to steer clear, probably a scam.

Total con! Some bloke pretending to be from the telephone preference service rings you up, wants your bank info. The number they use keeps switching, last time it was 01872 265424. The guy calls himself Jack, sometimes Max, always after card details. This time I faffed about for 10 minutes messing with him until he got proper agitated and started cussing at me. Honestly, I find it kinda funny annoying scammers like that. But I do worry about folks who might fall for this muppet’s tricks.

Got a call super early, like before 8 in the morning, and all I heard was silence followed by the line going dead.

Total con! They said it was about some phone blocking service, then asked for my bank info. The number they use keeps switching, just last week it was 01872 265424. Some guy, calls himself Jack or maybe Max, tries to trick you into giving your card details. I spent like 10 minutes messing around with him this time, and he eventually got annoyed and dropped some swear words on me lol. Gotta admit, it's amusing pestering these scammers. Just hope folks who are less savvy don’t fall for this nasty bloke’s tricks.
