The number was unfamiliar so I let it go to voicemail. Looked it up on this site afterwards and saw what others had said.

Within about 15 minutes, I got two calls - one from 01279429998 and the other from 01639721834 - both with recorded messages saying my Amazon Prime subscription was about to expire. They said it would renew automatically unless I pressed 1 to speak with an Amazon account manager. The thing is, I don’t even have an Amazon Prime account.

Got one of those dodgy automated calls saying they were from Amazon. Totally a scam, just a robo voice trying to trick ya. Don’t fall for it!

Got a call from a number I didn't know, no voicemail left either. Probably just another annoying spammer or scam. My tip? Just ignore it and don't bother ringin' back!
