Got a call from someone claiming to be my network provider but it was definitely a scam. I’m with a different company entirely.

Got a call that showed up as a possible scam on my phone. When I answered, the person claimed to be from O2. I told them if I ever wanted a new phone, I'd just call O2 directly. They kept pushing some offer about a better deal and a new phone if I switched my contract. They didn’t appear to realise I’m on a sim-only plan, so I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I ignored the calls since my Samsung tagged the number as possible spam. They rang a total of three times, with each call starting right after the previous ended, then they just vanished. I have no idea what Stratford has to do with me, and I definitely haven’t shared my number with anyone.
