Some bloke rang claiming to be from Sky’s customer service, asking how old I was because apparently they’re offering perks for older folks. I told him to send whatever info through the post and then ended the call. I often get a bunch of these calls, and usually afterwards, there’s a follow-up one saying that since I’ve had loads of nuisance calls, they can stop them for a daily fee. I just tell them to buzz off for free, and that usually sorts it for a few months. It’s all just a trick to try and nab your bank info.

I received a call from this number on the 6th of September 2017 at around 5:56 in the afternoon. Strangely enough, when I picked up, there was utter silence on the other end, and no one responded. After a short while, the call dropped on its own.

As I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, it's quite concerning that they would ring me in the first place.
