Got a call from this number earlier, some asian bloke saying he was from Sky. He asked if I was the account holder and said he wanted to check over my Sky deal. I didn’t trust him, so I asked for some ID. He gave me a made-up number and hung up pretty quick after that. Sounds like a total scam, so watch out!

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent saying she was from Sky. She asked if I was the account holder and even used my name. She began going on about some kind of review for my Sky contract, but then the call just dropped. I don't think it was really Sky since they usually get in touch by email. Seems fishy, so I've blocked the number. The area code was 01278, which is Bridgwater in Somerset - I’m pretty sure Sky wouldn’t be calling from there.

This number just rang me up saying they were from British Gas and that they'd be visiting my place to swap out my meters for free. When I asked them to repeat themselves because of all the scam stories going around, they hung up straight away.
