The person on the phone had pretty bad English but tried selling me a deal with 40% off my next O2 airtime plan if I agreed then and there. I couldn’t help but chuckle and then told them I actually work as a Manager at O2, so I know this sort of scam all too well. I made clear they’d be reported to Action Fraud and that when they track the caller’s whereabouts, the local police would get involved as well.
